After one weekend of intense action, two of Taiwan’s best PUBG squads have finally emerged on top of the PUBG Master League 2019 - Phase 2 Finals to secure two coveted slots to the MET Asia Series: PUBG Classic.

A whopping TWD 2,000,000 prize pool was on the line in the professional PUBG League dedicated for Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau division, and NOVA Monster Shield and afq e-Sports Club rightfully claimed its biggest cuts after finishing the tournament as the first and second placers, respectively.

NVM accumulated a total of 139 points, the most in the entire tournament, after finishing nine out of the total 15 rounds within the top four placing. Meanwhile, ahq finished just seven points behind the overall champion, despite having the most Chicken Dinners, three to be exact, amongst 15 other competitors.

With their exemplary performance, NVM and ahq have been given the honor to represent their country in the MET Asia Series: PUBG Classic, against the best squads in China, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan. More than the USD 300,000 prize pool, what’s at stake at the last premier tournament of the PUBH Classics 2019 circuit is also an extra slot for the PUBG Global Championship 2019.

Organized by MET Events, Asia’s biggest esports event organizer, in partnership with PUBG Corporation, the MET Asia Series: PUBG Classic, will be held in Bangkok, Thailand’s BITEC Bangna from July 26 to 28, 2019.
